Fiber Optic Camera Link Extender

Foxy seamlessly extends Base mode Camera Link connections at clock rates up to 66.5 MHz. It employs a single, LC-style fiber optic cable that facilitates installation and minimizes overall system cost.  Foxy is fully automatic and has been tested with cameras from several manufacturers.  In addition to the Base mode signals, four bits of general purpose, opto-coupled I/O are provided for the control of attendant equipment or the extension of a serial port.  Modular laser components allow Foxy to be cost-effectively adapted to the user’s distance requirements. Spans as long as 10 km are supported.
